"The hosts are very responsive and very nice. The place is spotless and the pool is amazing. If you come by train, the station is right across the hotel but you won’t hear it at night as it stops early. Visit the beautiful city of Alora and perfect stay to visit Caminito del Rey! Would recommend."

"A two night stop over to undertake some business and catch up with some old friends. The Hotel itself was a pleasure and very comfortable with welcoming staff. To arrive by car, be wary of the narrow (occasionally very narrow) streets and you will need to park off site, about a 5-to-10-minute walk away, depending on how fit you are. Best to drop off any luggage first. There is an excellent restaurant right next door called the Ca n'Amatolox, run by Chef Sergi, who very accommodating despite there only being 1 or 2 of us there. Best to book in advance as he has other ventures, but his food was amazing."

"An excellent stay at the Hostal Duran. The place is clean and well manged by the lovely owners and staff. The Hostal is centrally located with good public transport links, the bus stop for the Caminito del Rey is only a hundred metres away and the train station is around 15 minutes walk or a bus from the same above stop, all restaurants and bars are on your doorstep. A recommendation, choose a room with a panoramic view (Terrace), the views to the castle are wonderful."
