Hotel near airport

This hotel was close to amenities- restaurant, shopping etc. Staff were helpful. Room was average, clean Pool was clean. Only thing we didn't like was there were smoking rooms on our floor and you could smell it in the hallway but not in our room.

Great Hotel for the money!

Close to downtown, close to Costco, close to the Airport, close to Sunridge Mall, close to a Hospital, a movie theater, Hwy 2 (deerfoot), tons of eats in one of the best areas of town. I'd stay here again.

Stampede Stay

Pros: Convenient to airport and Deerfoot. Affordable and available during the busy time of Calgary Stampede.
Cons: Rooms could use updating and the staff could be more helpful.
Location: Near airport, Deerfoot.
Front desk staff were efficient, but not very helpful or enthusiastic on check-in. Elevator smelled like a dive bar. 5th floor hallway smelled musty. The room was dated and the carpet was stained. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the room was decent size. Poor soundproofing... In the morning we were awakened by many doors slamming as guests checked out and an army of cleaning staff converged on our hallway. Checkout was fast... They did not ask how our stay was.

Dirty and unpleasant

Pros: Close to where we were wanting to be located.
Cons: A lot.
From the time of entering the lift, we knew we were in for some nasty surprises. Including the mat in the lift which was saturated with apuddle of something to entering a room booked for three which had no cups, and only enough towels for two to shower. The bathroom was dirty, old and worn. And the room very dated. Very expensive at 227.50 for the night. Breakfast was provided but nowhere to sit!

Don's Calgary visit

This was an overnight stay; did not arrive at hotel until after 12:30am. Lobby was emasculate, staff was very accommodating and polite. There are no snack vending machines on the property, only beverage vending.

Pros: Price
Cons: 1. There should ALWAYS be someone at the front desk of a hotel .Nobody was there when I arrived - I needed to find a house phone to call them.
Was happy just to find something reasonable during stampede week.

Shuttle to Airport is Hourly. We were never told.

First, the hotel is aged, it's about 15 minutes from the airport which isn't too bad but the worst was the fact, check in knew we had a flight and never mentioned it was an hourly shuttle, just that they had a shuttle. It isn't really a shuttle but cabs. Ended up having to take and pay for our own cab, $20. Don't advertise a shuttle unless it's clear to your customers.

Thanks for the feedback on your stay with us. We were running cabs instead of our shuttle for a few days, but as our normal service we were through the front desk confirming trips to the airport and would have provided taxi voucher to cover the charges.

Needs some attention!

Poor staff reception...matter of fact check in.no info offered for food, pool. Wifi etc Corridor smells musty. Window latches in room broken. Dirty room service trays left in corridor for 2 days (not mine). Lifts smell as if someone was smoking in them

We currently do have 1 wing of the second floor that are smoking rooms so on occasions this can be transferred by the elevators.
