"I wanted to leave them a four star review so bad because they would not allow visitors (which I guess I overlooked) even for a couple minutes and they also looked at me funny of the entire time I was there passing by, but that is understandable because I dress eclectic. What shifted that throughout my entire day was the kindness and quickness to their assistance and making sure that I am doing well— the smiles with of the maids and cleaners of the rooms, the beauty of the pool, the location right in the middle of everything —I could go on. Yes there were scratches on the wood of some of the furniture when you walk in as a fresh room and there’s a couple of stains on the carpet—didn’t look like it was filthy by any means, but I also come from a country where if I pay this much for a room, it is exquisite and to the T cleanliness. Breakfast was phenomenal. A hot tub would make a lot of sense for this location/price, but again I cannot stress enough how amazing the staff was in regards to they’re friendliness, quickness to help, easy to communicate with even with English as their second language in English as my only. Kudos staff:) Loved my stay! *JUST KNOW: No visitors, no hot tub. Right on the Rasta Beach, Ubers immediate."

"Room had tiny little space to move for 3 people. Door did not lock properly. It would open automatically. Informed several times but I found to days door was open all the way for whole day after the room was serviced and o had all my personal uses stuffs and luggage open for everyone in the floor passing by my room!! "

"First impressions were excellent. The room looked amazing, and we had a beautiful ocean view overlooking Copacabana Beach. Unfortunately, there were a couple of issues with the room that really put a downer on the stay. Most of the USB points in the room did not work, especially the ones near the bed, which was quite inconvenient. The biggest issue, however, was an unpleasant smell in the room. This smell was not present in other areas of the hotel, only in the room itself. It was so bad that I had to move from the first room to a second one. It is such a shame, as I would love to stay at this hotel again on my next trip to Rio, but the smell was very off putting. On a positive note, the location is excellent. I really loved where the hotel is situated. The breakfast was also very good, with plenty of options, and the staff went above and beyond. My son especially enjoyed the pancakes, and they made sure he had them, which was a lovely touch. The staff in general were outstanding. They interacted so well with my young son, and he still talks about them. They were friendly, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome. I also really appreciated that they extended my room time due to a very late return trip. The rooftop area is another highlight and well worth visiting. Overall, while there were some disappointing room aspects, but the staff and location were exceptional."

The breakfast was simple, but quite tasty, with fresh options that were enough to start the day well. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would consider staying here again."

"What we really liked about this hotel? I must say 5 stars for breakfast, great choice, lots of fruit, and great choice of everything, fresh and tasty. Another great thing was location, close to metro, taxi and activities. Some staff was nice but they did not speak english. Where ever we fo we expect that somebody would speak english as well. Room was avarage, towels and bedding could be cleaner. I could smell mould from mouldy walls. We only were happy with the shower."
