« We loved our stay! The farmhouse was so quaint and vintage and was just what we were looking for. The staff/owner was lovely, pleasant and accommodating. The classic English breakfast was delicious, especially with the recently made homemade jam. Our only issue was gps routing us in a wrong direction and not realizing the entrance was through the gate that was closed. The online map said it was .9 of a mile from the city center of Castle Combe, which is true if you walk it. That turned out...

"The public areas are excellent and inviting. Thank you for the constant supply of cold water fountains during an extreme heatwave. The criticism is for poor HOUSEKEEPING. We stayed 5 nights. Used cups/glasses never collected, room never vacuumed, liquid soap dispensers never replenished, toilet paper almost depleted (we had to ask), bed making just thrown together, our room totally forgotten one day. Seems to be a real lack of staff, training and supervision in this department. "
