« If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Gemini House was the perfect place to stay: the hosts are so welcoming and make you feel at home the minute you arrive. It is safe, clean and comfortable. The breakfast which you can eat outside looking at the garden and sea, is delicious. I also loved the location: 2 minutes away from a beautiful and quiet beach, and a short ride by bus to Oistins. The bus stop is 2 minutes walk from Gemini House. The airport is also quite close. « Arthur maintains a very clean, spacious, and friendly spot in Barbados. It is a ways away from some amenities, but a relatively short walk to the beaches and busier areas. He has great connections for taxis to take you where you need to go and we were able to coordinate with one of them to take us to the far end of the island and back to the airport. Great stay! »

« Barbados is a marvellous island with lovely peolpe. Even if Winshelsea guest house is good located and clean I would not recomand to stay there! There is too many rules in this guest house. First there is one chain with a lock at the entrance gate. It's locked anytime and you park your car outside... After this gate there is a very nosy iron gate how creak loud at any passage. There is a shorter way but the guest don't have the key and it's reserved to the worker who clean the rooms....

« Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cette magnifique habitation. Au delà du charme de la maison et du jardin, nous avons vraiment apprécié l'accueil très chaleureux du personnel. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et agréables. Nous nous sommes sentis "comme à la maison". Il est cependant nécessaire d'avoir une voiture pour se déplacer, l’habitation étant éloignée des centres touristiques. »

« Nice property but they cut the 1 foot tall grass the day after we arrived. The place was in good shape, clean but needed some attention to dusting. I found we had about an 8th of an inche of dust on top of our air conditioning unit in our bedroom. The location was great, across the road from the beach. The first 50 feet or so into the water had big stones ober the sand. Up the beach a hundred feet or so didn't. But its not an issue went swimming twice every day. Overall it was a great...

« Very good location, away from main traffic route noise. Staff were very nice, professional and helpful. Large room and bathroom which had tub and shower combined, safe with basic key operation for minimal rental charge and fridge. TV with UK and US news channels. I didn't get the higher floor room requested, but this did not seem to matter as the hotel was largely quiet and security was in attendance. A beach is on view directly across the road, but it is infuriatingly cut off by a fenced off...

« Sharon really did go out of her way to make sure our stay was a great one. She provided some fresh food for our arrival, extra towels on request, arranged airport transfers, and was generally very hospitable. « The pics of the property are misleading. The rooms are very basic. Dated and sparse. I arrived at 3pm and the room was not ready. I had to wait until 5pm as the cleaners were out. I never saw any cleaners and my room was never freshened for the 4 days. There was also never anyone at the front desk. Never! Had to clean hair out of the drain pipe in order for shower to drain. There was a strong smell of marijuana coming from rooms, even though it was a no smoking property. No soap was provided so...
