"We loved this place! The receptionist at the front desk, Roxanne, was so welcoming. She’s the mayor of Bridgeport as she has all the 411 on the area. You couldn’t find a better place for your fur baby. Many of the rooms are on the Walker River and there’s a huge dog run between the rooms and the river for the dogs to play on the grass. The area is very clean, provided the owners pick up after their pets…"

"Very well maintained property, great helpful staff in all areas, fantastic views, fantastic small casino nice store next door with everything I could use but no milk available, the restaurant was great accept one nights dinner was a disaster for me, I ordered fish and chips, the fish coating was cooked to a hard as a rock, burnt looking finish. The server told me there was a problem with the oil in the fryer, said fish, chicken, everything was coming out that way. So didn’t eat any of it except for small salad. Wasn’t charged for it and he took 15% off on my wife’s meal. Next day a server said the cook was told about the problem but said he didn’t have the time to change it. We stayed 3 nights and had all our meals there. this one meal was the only negative experience. This is a fantastic place to stay and very affordable."

"The staff were nice and helpful. The room was clean. The propert was in terrible condition. There were 2 locks for each room door. The key only worked in one of the locks so we were given another room. Some window screens were disconnected from the frames, wallpaper was peeling in multiple places, paint was peeling off the wooden chairs outside the rooms, dead plants in pots, weeds everywhere, the bathroom fan made a terrible noise when you turned it off, the tub faucet leaked, and when taking a shower water came out of the faucet as if filling the tub. Obviously, we will not recommend the Redwood.to anyone.and request a refund."
