Property is nice but slightly dated. Location will always trump the the finishes of the rooms. Great location, shuttle is an asset but be prepared to wait 30 minutes. Amenities are plenty but in need of upgrades. This is a very nice hotel/resort and would stay again. If it was overhauled it probably would be out of my price range so a very attractive option in Breck.
This hotel is nestled at over 11,000 ft elevation! Plan accordingly! Altitude sickness is a real thing!!! The location was phenomenal and the staff was very accommodating. Only downside was the lack of "shops" for essentials like snacks and extra items needed for your stay. Also everything on the slopes closes early, so plan ahead. The gondola stops running at 4:40 and basically the mountain shuts down . The shuttle service was excellent and very easy to use! I was surprised to see this "hotel" was actually a bunch of privately owned condos. That makes tour decor and condition of your room unique. Ours was great but needed some minor upkeep such as shoveling the porch and replacing heat lamp bulbs. Overall a GREAT stay!
We spent a wonderful time with the adult kids skiing and snowboarding together while my husband and I shopped, ate and drank. Everything was in walking distance and the condo was perfect for us. This is a great place for large groups because there is plenty of room to spread out. Even a balcony with a grill.

We loved everything about the Wedgewood Lodge. Kate, at the front desk, went out of her way to be helpful and make our stay comfortable. She is excellent at customer service and genuinely wants to help guests. We stayed in a one-bedroom with fireplace and the room was very spacious. Plus it had a nice-sized bathroom and full kitchen. The furniture and fixtures were much better than your average ski-resort-rustic style and everything was spotless. We will definitely go back!
The condo was a 2 bedroom/2bathroom, full kitchen, very clean and nice. We were told each bedroom had a full size bed, the second bedroom had 2 twin beds, we were fine, but full size would have been nicer.
Stayed for a quick weekend trip. Check in was hassel free and courteous. The two room unit was well appointed and maintained. I would definitely stay here again. Very convenient to the slopes and very close to the bars and restaurants all of which are a very short walk.
We had the best time in Breckenridge! This was our 3rd time at Mountain Thunder Lodge, we like it a lot, the location is great, staff is really nice and the condos are comfortable. We got a 3 bedroom condo this time for my family of 5. We did notice though that the condos are not being updated, they have been the same over the years so the furniture, appliances and carpets are showing some aging. We did not get the "Wow factor" this time walking into to the room. Besides that all was good! Indoor parking is very nice and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. Shuttle service picks you up in front of the lobby but Mainstreet is walking distance and you can ski back to the hotel if there is enough snow! With some updating this place is 5 star :)
