« Cell phone tower reception was poor for all carriers so WiFi would have been helpful. Didn’t realize there wasn’t a tv, washer and dryer or dish washer. Couldn’t fish in the pond. Need to keep bedroom doors open or gets pretty warm in the rooms. Keep the vent on in the restrooms for awhile and doors open or your towels won’t dry. The fire pit with logs was wonderful. We spent a lot of time there. Bo mosquitos. Do not leave the door open at all or flies will get in and do not keep any food out...

« We enjoyed our stay at Long lake. It was a wonderful cabin with everything we needed. My children and grandchildren loved the lake, kayaks, and large lily pad. They swam and fished off the dock and we caught lots of blue gills, enough for a delicious fish fry, The area was quiet and peaceful with lots of wildlife. « The cabin worked for a home base for us, but it was not what was pictured...not even close!! outside was nothing like the picture, cabin looked older. Upon arrival, kitchen sink was dirty, stove had obviously had something hot spilled on knobs that were melted and grimy, stove had no propane, we had to switch the tank over (they did refill it), they provide the charchoal grill as listed, but no utensils. « If you are looking for a little slice of peaceful paradise, this is it! Everything you could need is right at your fingertips and is tastefully presented. The lake is calm and quiet and provides the perfect setting for rest, relaxation, and time to marvel at the beauty of nature. « Holly is amazing. Her husband is a great help as well. I have stayed there twice now. This time was even more fun with having a horse back riding experience!
We stayed for a couples night out. There were no spider webs in our cabin and we didn’t have to worry about asking for batteries for our fan!
The accommodations for being a Rustic style experience were wonderful and clean.

« We absolutely loved our stay here we did not want to leave! So nice and peaceful here you see all kinds of wildlife here no traffic. Big beautiful trees! Close to so many lakes! There is a public access just right down the road if you want to kayak or canoe or fish. The host was very nice and easy to get ahold of and had some very nice snacks thank you very much! They of course also have all the other things you need you must definitely check it out if you need a relaxing getaway! »
