« We had a great stay in the cabin. Six of us were on this trip and we all loved the comfort of Birdie Blue. The beds were all soft, the blankets and pillows were cozy and everyone slept well. The outside swing is the perfect start and ending to your day. The kitchen is set up with everything that you need. We saw deer at the end of the driveway one morning and a daily red cardinal visit. « Entering the home at dusk, there are NO outside lights at back of home. Multiple flood lights that were set up weren’t even working. Inside, bugs galore! Lady bugs, spiders etc. it’s understandable that it’s a cabin in the woods but when someone has formed out 1200 for a weekend stay, it would have been nice to not have any bugs. The hot tub reeked of algae water and had a thick layer of scum on the side walls. The cookware, had to be hand washed prior to use because of the layer of filth. The...

« The inside of the cabin was nice. Beds were great. The "screened in" patio was not closed in so there were spiders and moths and bugs everywhere! This is where we were supposed to enjoy the hot tub after a long day of hiking but that didn't happen. A little maintenance in this area would go a long way! »
