"If you want delicious food in the evening and a bed for the night in a pretty village, then you won’t be disappointed. Staff were friendly too. However the room was tiny and very dated and the en suite was not much more than a cupboard, soundproofing is very poor. Breakfast was a little bit Fawlty Towers, I was told a flat white wasn’t a problem but was given a cup of black coffee,Asking for hot milk seemed to be disconcerting. "Lovely hotel and we have a wonderful time on our 55the wedding anniversary. The food in the restaurant was fabulous. My only gripe was the only place you could watch tv was on the bed. Would have preferred watching it from the chairs. Loved the stairs - so beautiful. "
