« Brandlehow is the perfect place to relax and refuel. The location is superb, nestled in the woodlands and on the shores of Derwentwater. Most days began with a coffee overlooking the lake, watching the sunrise and the cloud disperse. Beautiful walks from the doorstep and of course a lot of kayaking right from the door. The water levels were incredibly high when we arrived so couldn't make the best use of the launches as we have in the past but enjoyed a trip later in the week. The footpath...

Plenty of communication prior to our arrival made it easy to find and access, the property is spacious (especially so for just two of us!) and well laid out. The full kitchen had everything you'd need, the property was spotlessly clean and modern, and the bed big and comfortable. Did report that bins were overflowing outside with black bags piled high both on the floor and on top of the bins on two occasions (appeared bins had not been cleared for weeks). « We booked a last minute stay at the Fellseeker and contacted the team directly to help with booking as we were looking for a dog friendly property. All of the booking team could not have been more helpful, excellent communication from the staff, who immediately sent over all booking information and directions to the property. The small enclosed patio area was ideal for 'you know what' and the property is very well equipped.
