« The property didn’t look anything like the pictures. Coming into the neighborhood was very disturbing. Delinquent buildings, trash on the sides of the streets in piles. There was an above ground pool left in the front yard at the street of the neighbors house totally trashed. Also broken down cars with flat tires in front of the property. It has lots of history and very unique displays of its history throughout the cottage. Mary was an awesome hostess. « This property was advertised as lakefront, but there was no water during our stay. The photo showing a scenic waterfront was completely inaccurate—there was no place to fish, kayak, or even enjoy the view. The dock led to dry land. Inside, the appliances were outdated and barely functional. There was no storage space, so we had to use the beds as makeshift drawers for our clothes. It’s clear the place could have potential, but it desperately needs investment and upkeep the tv only had a limited...

« Enjoyed the stay location was within an hour drive of the places we intended to go, very clean, nice deck, nice grill below deck we at breakfast, and grilled dinner almost every day. Comfortable bed on the firm side which I prefer. The loft is above the garage so consider the stairs if your health is not good. Was not a problem for us and we are old, would be no different than walking stairs to a hotel room. The loft is on a shared driveway with the owner so not secluded but sure feels...
