The staff is amazing—we stopped halfway through our honeymoon in Lake Bled and we needed to get our laundry done so bad. "The garden was lovely for sitting out at night and the apartment had a nice balcony and well located. Key issues were there was no air conditioning and almost everywhere has that so we were hot. Also the oven didn’t work - it made the power trip for the whole flat. Big issue to not be able to cook. But as we were there for three days and didn’t really want to cook much it was ok. Heat of the apartment the main issue but location central and great and star gazing from the lovely garden at night...

"Good hotel but I felt it was quite expensive for the room standard. The view from the balcony was excellent but the aircon was weak and the bathroom felt dated. The location is super handy, and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good and on at good times with plenty seating. The pool areas are a huge highlight of this hotel too- it’s great to have so many to choose from and beautiful views from the terrace. I felt we were charged a lot for extras I expected to be included, for example the onsite saunas. There was also a fee for lost room keys (and remember to take one per person for the pool areas so you cant get in otherwise). It was also the only hotel on our trip that charged for parking however I believe this is due to a bigger parking issue in Lake Bled in general. I would stay here again however- and booking the balcony room made all the difference!"

"If you want an authentic last Century stay this is the place. It is in a pedestrian only enclave which is pretty as a picture postcard and there is lots of shopping and great food. The hotel does not have a lift but staff manage your bags. High ceilings, 4 poster beds and period furniture. And the place is quiet as a church mouse. loved it and I will be back."

"Stayed 4 days. Staff were attentive. Breakfast excellent. Room clean with bed very comfortable. Felt the promotion was misleading about the use of a wellness centre; it cost to use it! One day none of the room supplies were replaced (no toilet paper, no shower soap). The most disappointing aspect was that for 4 days we had no cooling; despite a number of approaches to helpful reception, the room was 24-25 degrees for 24/7, with no solution and minimal comms to keep us updated."
