The outside space is very relaxing and enjoyable, but know that it is not fenced, nor is it particularly kid friendly due to some uneven surfaces that are about 6 feet up from the beach. "We do quite a bit of traveling and this has been, by far, my favorite place to stay. It was clean, comfortable and almost takes you to a magical place. The owner definitely did everything right; decor, appliances, extras! The only thing I would note is that it is one open space. The bathroom is even open on top. This was only a little issue for us bc my husband is an early riser and I stay up late. Couldn’t really turn on a light or take a shower without the other noticing. BUT I would still...

"I come over to West Seattle monthly for diving. I stay in this unit for several reasons - first and foremost, it is cool. If you recall the Grunge explosion, this will be like sleeping in nostaglia. Excellent and eclectic records collection. It is close the restaurants (walking distance) and on the beach. Recommend it for anyone."

"Skyler was a great host, even coming out to the street to get us to the right place when we arrived late in the dark. (Directions auto-corrected to 10 West Smith St. -- close, but one block over). Had everything we needed, perfect size, easy walk to Queen Anne District for anything you might need, and short drive to anywhere you may want to go. Street parking was easy, and we highly recommend a troll hunt if you have no specific plans. Highly recommend!"

"The location of this charming cottage couldn’t be better. Walk to bakeries and restaurants. On-street parking readily available, with a charming outdoor area. I have to especially give a shoutout to the kitchen, which had everything you’d need to make a meal, and the interesting, charming adornments around the rooms."

"Beautiful property right on the water. The forest cabin was warm and cozy and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen stocked with the essential equipment, and the screen in the loft was a nice touch - I was able to plug in my laptop via HDMI and stream movies in bed. If I was there for work, I would've been able to use it to work on as well. There are trails on the property for hiking, and it is a short walk down to the beach. "Old building and the doors are due for an upgrade. You have to basically put all your weight in to open the door. "

"We only stayed overnight but we were happy with our stay. I tried to call ahead to communicate that we’d be doing a late check-in and there was no answer but once we arrived that evening we still had our room reserved. It’s located in a quiet area and the room was equipped with a full sized fridge, microwave, stove and some dishes. Would definitely recommend this place if you plan on staying for multiple nights. "
