« The house was ideal for my girlfriend getaway. The location was great. We toured Volcan Park , Botanical Gardens, and ate at SoHo Social , which has a great happy hour starting at 3. All these were very close to the house. It was a short ride into Birmingham to visit the multiple breweries. The beds and house are very comfortable for the four of us. I would recommend this house but be aware there are multiple steps leading up to the front door. Not a problem for my group but may be difficult...

« House has everything you need plus a fenced in back yard which makes letting your dog out so easy. Heat and air work great. Slept so well in the very comfortable mattress. Very quiet neighborhood. Took my dog for a walk as wide streets have little traffic. Easy to get in touch with host or his assistant. Recommend this property. »

« Me and some buddies came in from out of town to see a show at Avondale Brewery! This house was a 2 minute ride from Avondale Brewery, with many others attractions in the neighborhood, and the Uber charges were exceptionally reasonable. Very nice house. Sizeable kitchen, large dinning table, plenty of seating around the table, sofa that would seat 4-5 comfortably or two people could stretch out, beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows. I would definitely consider this house for a future trip....

« I'd give this property and owner 6 stars if I could. Seriously can't say enough positive about this property and process. Super easy to get to and in. Quiet neighborhood, super clean house and even surprised us with snacks in the kitchen which was great after a long drive. Out teen and young adult children loved the basement entertainment area. Would 100% recommend and use again next time we are in the area. »

« Overall a success. This is a beautiful old historic home with lots of cool features. It was great for our usage - business associates in the Birmingham area for the Porsche Driving Experience. I would say it would be great for families and kids too. The rental process was great and convenient. »

« It was a nice place to stay for the night. The host did give us easy to follow directions to find the unit. Though, parking was not great for us a with a full sized SUV. It was a little tough to pull out when the neighbors had their vehicles parked as well. There is other parking on the street, but it was full. And the driveway is fairly steep to walk up. « Well appointed cottage a couple of blocks off a busy street with easy access to the hospitals, downtown & clubs. Home is nicely decorated with a welcoming swing on the front porch. « We were visiting family in Hoover and 4 of us stayed at this house. Clean, roomy and had most of what we needed. We suggest a booklet with the wifi info and possibly things to do in the area. But, we certainly would rent again!! »

« Loved the place and super easy to get anywhere in the city. The only complaint or downfall is there are no ceilings over the bedrooms so you can hear everything within the loft, including the upstairs loft. »
