« An old building and we had stayed just once before the current owners took on the hotel. The staff were friendly, excellent prices for drinks both in the restaurant and bar. The Sri Lankan food was superb, tasty and full of flavour, next time I'll as for it to be hotter. The room was clean, comfortable despite being in an old building. Bathroom spotless, lovely fluffy towels, perhaps a little smell of damp in them. We will certainly return. »

« Excellent stay... The hotel is very neat and clean. The dinner was excellent.. Just if the breakfast had been with with some consideration for vegetarians it would have been amazing. Also, may be I did not ask but I need more than one cup of coffee when I am on business travels. In short, I recommend this place to everyone without hesitation. »

« Needed a last minute stay and found an absolute gem with this place. It has just been taken over and they have made a great job of the renovation. Spotlessly clean. Really comfy bed and great shower. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Nice and quiet on a night even though it faces the main road. Two minutes walk to pubs and restaurants. Fantastic overnight stay. Would 100% recommend. Good luck to the new owners. »

« Tres bien »

« Very dusty bedroom, wood panelling behind the bed was full of dust and cobwebs. Shower tray had black mould present. Kitchen had alot of cobwebs, dead spiders. Fridge seal was filthy, oven glove had holes and was burnt needs replacing. Windows inside are filthy and to top it off dog poo left for days which you had to try to avoid in the dark. The owners are trying to sell the property and are clearly not bothered. »
