Steve and Barbara are absolutely the most wonderful hosts we have ever encountered. Barbara saw we were having some issues with our truck upon arrival and showed up quickly to offer a helping hand. Unfortunately we found out the hard way we have a vacuum issue with our 4 wheel drive that made it impossible to make the last 50 yards of the hill to the property but Steve showed up with his tractor to pull us to the top! Again...amazing over and above hosts. The hottub was perfect and hot! Much needed to soothe aching muscles after rafting the Upper n Lower G plus the ATV trails going straight to the river are amazing. Plenty of supplies available in home and the peace and tranquility and seclusion are exactly what we wanted. Advise to 1st timers...make sure to test tour 4 wheel drive before attempting that hill...front wheel drive vehicles probably have the advantage. We will 100% be back for our WV visits! Overall, had a wonderful experience! The cabin was beautiful and very well maintained. The only things I would want others to be made aware of was that it is somewhat close to a main road, so the road noise during the day can be a little loud. At night it quiets down a bit, but if you’re wanting something very secluded and private, this might not be it. Also, the cabins are a bit close together, so again, if you’re looking for being really secluded/private, this may not be it for you. Otherwise, it was a beautiful cabin with your own private hot tub, big front porch with a nice porch swing and rocking chair, fire pit, and grills. The inside is a beautiful log cabin with very cozy ambiance and a fireplace. Communication with the owner was great. Very responsive and helpful, provided directions for the cabin and even provided good suggestions for things to do / places to eat. Took some of their suggestions and it was super helpful! They even offered us early check in/check out with no additional charge (I didn’t even have to ask), which I feel is rare to find and was honestly a huge bonus for us. We were able to get into the cabin early which was super helpful for us instead of having to drive around waiting for check in. Wish more Air B&B’s would do this, so thank you for offering this! Gave me an immediate positive experience! Overall, my husband, myself and our dogs loved the cabin!"
