The room and hotel generally are very well maintained and clean. Reception staff always efficient and friendly. The restaurant staff could be more welcoming with the exception of Fatima who was a ray of sunshine at breakfast - very efficient and always smiling. The choices at breakfast were excellent with table service for hot food and pots of tea and coffee which is so much better than the hot drinks machines. The 3 courses dinners were of a high quality but limited choices on the menu which was the same for our 3 night stay. The location is ideal for keen hikers with a number of stunning walks from the hotel. This is our second stay and we hope to return again next year."
