"Broken elevator our room was on the 3rd floor with 2 queens when we were supposed to have a king. We stayed one night because it was after 9:30 and the next morning we checked out and moved to a Comfort Inn down the highway "

"Even though this property was listed as “no frills” there are certain things that every renter should expect when renting a VRBO. The first is honesty. This house has no views and hasn’t for a while. The dunes have grown up around it to such a point that they block any and all views of the water. The second is safety. Mold was growing in the ice maker and the ceilings of several bathrooms. There are soft spots in the floors of at least one bathroom. These are major health concerns. The rest of the property is certainly no frills: the windows are so comprised you hardly see through them. The outside needs washing to remove the mildew growth.l, the entire house needs cleaning and new paint. Positives include the layout, the furniture, the beds and the golf carts. "

"We had a great 3-night stay at the Caswell Beach condo! The view is amazing - you can see both the pool and the beach from the balcony. Perfect for relaxing, reading a book, enjoying a drink, or whatever comes to mind! If the weather isn't cooperating, the living area has a large sectional couch and television that is super modern and comfy. The couch even has power outlets!The condo was clean and well-organized with everything we needed for our stay. Instructions for stay (locks, remotes, parking, etc.) were well-organized and complete. Additionally, Stuart and Brandon were great hosts who checked in via email/text to be sure we were settled in and that all was well.The condo was perfect for us, and we recommend it for anyone visiting the Oak Island and Caswell Beach area."

"The room and bathroom were very small, the toilet itself rocked so it was loose on the floor , the handle on the coffee machine kept coming off so you had to use 2 hands to close it , the staff was dismissive and rude. "
