An extremely great stay at this property! We were on the top floor and the room was spacious and bed was incredibly comfortable. The location of the hotel is about ten minutes from the center of Bar Harbor's shops & restaurants. Less than 10 minutes from the entrance of Acadia (Park Loop & Cadillac Mountain entrance) which was extremely convenient for us and our morning hikes! The breakfast every morning was amazing as well they offer two options and it is cooked to order. Plenty of on site parking too so we could come & go as we please. If we ever go back to Bar Harbor, we will only stay here!

The location was excellent and a short walk to downtown/waterfront. The room was functional but very small. Breakfast choices were good and made to order. Homemade cookies in the afternoon were a plus.

Staff were nice. Air conditioning didn’t work and there was no reading on thermostat. They couldn’t fix late on Labor Day weekend and offered to change rooms, which we did. Food just okay and dining/living room just ok. Not warm and inviting. Game room nice and we did use laundry facilities. Housekeeping team were helpful. The location is great, but we’d want to stay somewhere just a tad nicer if we return.

This inn was so charming. The room was decorated in a nautical theme. I loved the hot made to order breakfast every morning with fresh fruit and the cute patio to sit on. It was also a great location - very easy to walk downtown.

The property is called an "INN" To me that means nicer than a motel. We were disappointed to find that the room looked like a motel room, especially the bathroom. We stayed at other nicer "INNS". This "Inn" was the only place we stayed that had an old motel type tub/shower. Plus they gave us a room in the lower basement level near the laundry room. While the beds were very comfortable and the breakfasts were good, I would never stay there again. It was in a good location but so were other nicer inns Expedia did not recommend apparently because they don't deal with a third party. Wish we would have rather stayed in any of the others. Learned many things I would nevere do again.

We had a wonderful stay at The Inn on Mount Desert. The property was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was great! There are 2 options daily between 7am-9:30am and they are made fresh to order. The location is excellent - easy to walk into Bar Harbor to all of the shops and restaurants, so you can avoid parking on the busier town streets. Also a short drive to Acadia. Overall, I was very pleased and if I were to go back to Bar Harbor, I’d happily book here again!!
