"We've stayed here 4 times now, I think. It's a nice place in the price range we needed. We arrived late, and they called to let us know they would put our key in the lockbox. One big problem that is easily solved is that the street light comes into the room VERY bright! Use an eye mask. Definitely use an eye mask!! This time the continental breakfast left much to be desired - not many choices. I wonder if that's hit-or-miss? The bed wasn't the most comfortable - kind of hard and flat. The pillows were huge and puffy. I fixed it the second day by putting a pillow under my knees and sleeping on my back, then it was fine. It's very convenient to Old Town Durango, which is a reason to stay. The railroad depot has a free museum. It's terrific! FREE! I highly recommend it, and it's nearly right next door to the hotel. Parking is difficult in the lot if it's busy, but Friday evening to Sunday, you can park in metered spaces free of charge."

"We were very satisfied with this hotel. We especially liked the tile floors, The parking lot lighting was excellent. Breakfast was ok. Bathroom seemed to have been remodeled except for tub surround. Appears as though they painted the tub area, which didn't look good, but it worked just fine."
