The open floor plan with a cathedral ceiling and large windows in the living room offer a very bright, light living space. Enjoy morning coffee or afternoon beverages on the balcony with partial ocean views, accessed from the living room through sliding glass doors. Prepare your meals in the well-stocked kitchen, which also has a bar height counter for enjoying meals and snacks or keeping the cook company. The living room has a wall/window air conditioner. You will find a Cal king bed in the bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper for extra sleeping. This home is perfect for 2 to 4 people, and it’s just 19 steps up from the sidewalk. QUIET HOURS: 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (use of outdoor areas strictly prohibited). This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day). Place was no frills, no amenities, and the smallest bar of bath soap I have ever seen. I couldn't get the pilot lit on the gas heater, so we ended up using spaces heaters in every room. Honestly, having stayed at a hotel and this place, I’d choose a hotel as the hotels actually have a more personal touch. Also, be sure to factor in cost of getting trip insurance.
