"Be careful that you don't miss the gravel driveway to this gem! Nestled in the woods is a picturesque cabin with every amenity you need to unplug for a couple days. Barbeque, star gaze, and play board games in a well furnished house with upgraded appliances and comfortable furniture. Make sure to look at your directions on the GPS before you lose signal so you don't end up leaving in the wrong direction and stop at the nearest town before arriving. You have a bit of travel to the nearest store...

"The property was very nice with a large yard. There were a lot of songbirds and an eagle! House was very clean with everything you need. We explored the area doing a lot of hiking and was a very relaxing place to come back to. The porch is amazing even when it rained. There are 2 benches at the creek but it's easier if you bring camp chairs for the firepit which we didnt have. A wonderful place to stay!!"

Joe provided open communication throughout the process and was an excellent host! We have stayed in other lodges but the “Octagon” by far has been one of our best stays!!!"
