We drove up to Rio Celeste from Manuel Antonio, and although it was a long drive, guanacaste-La fortuna was everyone’s favorite area of Costa Rica of our entire trip. "The listing is exactly as pictured and described. The property is nicely secluded but still close to everything. It is easy to get to, yet private. We felt completely safe to walk around the property day and night looking for wildlife. We saw coatis, agoutis, howler and white faced monkeys as well as toucans, hummingbirds, bell birds and mot mots. "The photos do not do the house justice. On arrival the house was clean and had all of the necessary kitchen and bathroom essentials. Each room had an individual bathroom with shower that had good pressure. The view of the arenal volcano was breath taking and the pool was a perfect way to stay cool down in the heat. Disclaimer the pool structure is made of a cement type of material and we did get some scrapes, but nothing too bad. Also, there is no jacuzzi it is simply a “water feature”. In...

"Julian was a great host, he was always available and graves the best tips on what to visit and where to get the best deals for local attractions, his home is beautiful a piece of art in fantastic piece of land. Place to park your car, great bathrooms, do highly recommend. We only stayed 2 days but thanks to our host we maximized our stay"

"We had a lovely stay in this house just outside La Fortuna. We had delicious meals and highly recommend having breakfast and dinner at the house. It was amazing to see Flash the sloth hanging out in the garden. The house has a great location near activities but gives an authentic feel. Pura vida!"

"Great place for large group. Isabelle is the housekeeper and so super nice. We had her join our group for dinner one night. The house is layed out great. We also seen a lot of wildlife on the property, birds iguanas, lizards, etc. Main town is about 20 minutes away, very touristy, but lots of nice cafes and places to eat. Would definitely stay here again."

"The property is absolutely stunning! There is wildlife galore on the property and you feel like you’re in the middle of the rainforest. We had perfect weather and it was a little cooler but, if it wasn’t, the lack of air conditioning may have been rough! Love love loved this place and so did the whole group. 10/10 would recommend."
