« On the property lives 2 roosters which are very loud (and beautifull). And you have to feed them otherwise they will scream non stop. They start to beg for food around 4 am. Plus there is no hot water in sinks which makes living very uncomfortable (no dishwasher as well). If you want to have a nice shower - forget about it! Showers have electrical warmers and you have to use small water presser to make it work. We got no hot water in both bathrooms when we arrived. Later shower was fixed in...

« Bret and his crew were awesome people, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The property is wonderful, we hiked it almost everyday following the many trails and finding plateaus with amazing views of Lake Arenal. Sitting on the patio having a favourite beverage, we listened to howler monkeys, saw white faced monkeys, and many species of birds including parrots and toucans. Overall we had a wonderful vacation and would highly recommend a stay at CRParaiso. »

« Pictures don't do this property justice. It was super clean and very well maintained. The location was exactly what we were looking for - very quiet and secluded but a short drive to many things. Aileen was very easy to work with and was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations to our questions. The property is beautifully maintained as well. We would definitely recommend this property. »

« This place was great. Extremely close to the cloud forest reserve. The property manager went above and beyond. We got a home made breakfast brought to us every morning that was delicious. She arranged adventures for us to partake in nearby and followed up when a shuttle didn't arrive as previously scheduled. We had a wonderful experience at this property and highly recommend booking with Christina and supporting a Costa Rican if you are visiting Monteverde!!! You won't be disappointed. »

« The Red Sunset is by far the best place we have ever stayed. There wasn’t anything that you could need or want missing, and the artwork in the house is an artist dream world. We saw Toucans and Guans every day. The view is stunning, the pool and everything with it fun, and the entire house is extremely comfortable. We loved every minute we spent there. Oh yes, can’t forget the very best breakfast in the country! »

« The property is absolutely stunning! There is wildlife galore on the property and you feel like you’re in the middle of the rainforest. "Très bel endroit niché au sein d'un parc naturel privé de plusieurs hectares. Une nuit donne accès à l'intégralité des sentiers de randonnée. On y croise plein d'animaux. Tour guidé gratuit le matin. Très bon petit déjeuner. Multiples points de vue sur le volcan. "
