Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us. We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules: \- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know. \- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm. \- Please leave your shoes at the door. \- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies. \- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky. \- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair. \- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. I cleaned the rail along the stairs to the basement - it was visibly very dirty. Needs to be cleaned on doors and near all light switches. It had rodent poison in every corner. The dishwasher didn’t fit properly in the kitchen so the counter was cut out and a patched. The basement (where two bedrooms were) was dank. There were broken window treatments still hanging with curtains covering. There is no central air conditioning and it was musty when we first arrived. ##### Lizzie P.
