"I stayed at Hotel Rancho Cerro Azul for two nights in March and had a very relaxing experience. The property has a quiet, peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after exploring the La Fortuna area. One of my favorite parts of the stay was the sound of the river flowing behind my cabana. It created a constant natural backdrop that made the whole place feel calm and secluded. I stayed in the cabana that sits a bit farther away from the others, and I really appreciated the added privacy. It felt like having my own little retreat surrounded by nature. The location is also a big advantage. It is close enough to La Fortuna to easily access restaurants, tours, and the main attractions, but far enough away to avoid the noise and crowds of town. After a busy day out, coming back to such a quiet setting was perfect. If you are looking for a place that feels peaceful, private, and immersed in nature while still being convenient to La Fortuna, Hotel Rancho Cerro Azul is an excellent choice. I would happily stay there again."

"Love the property. We stayed in building 6 (one of the 3 with a private hot tub on the patio). Had a small kitchen with dishes, a hot plate, and mini fridge. Most excursions will NOT pick up from this property, as it is out of the way. We had a rental car, so everything worked out. Driving to this location is not for the faint of heart. However, it is beautiful and private. Just what we were looking for. There is a small outdoor restaurant on sight. Service was a little slow and seemed focused on other guests that were intoxicated. Food tasted so-so. Convenient enough to eat both nights of our stay. "

"Rented Delux room with A/C. Bed mattress was almost rock hard and made sleeping uncomfortable, Shower control handles were difficult to operate and water pressure and hot water changed constantly during shower time. "Passing through the portal to undeniable beauty. It absolutely takes your breathe away. Then you step into bliss. The warmth and genuine happiness that comes from this place is incredible. The room is huge with insane views of the Mountain covered in a cloudy mist. You are instantly overwhelmed with the majesty of Mother Nature, Pachamama, that is before your eyes. We were greeted to that view for 8 glorious days. The restaurant is divine, with wraparound views of jungle and it’s many animals that are feasting below your feet. In the trees a couple of you and and some colorful dirás i have never seen. The pool area is enticing with the waterfall and sunken bar. A walk down to the River takes you on a journey that exposes you to a gorgeous strong River with a pool that you can step into. The staff are amazing, beautiful, kind and generous people that were picked by the owner, Felix. He has created paradise in the jungles of La Fortuna. Thank you to Dayana, Fabiola Allison and Kevin for my amazing meals. The máster chef created a farewell dinner for my husband and me that was delicious. Thank you to Johan for welcoming us into an incredibly outstanding stay. Your knowledge will only grow and your kindness will make even more people adore you. And then their is Kevin, the smartes II dear person ever. Through all of you Felix´s vision is real and the more people know about this place the more they will wish to experiencia a Jewel in the Jungle. Pura Vida"
