This 4,000-square-foot home boasts plenty of space, so the whole family can make it for your dream vacation. The large open space dining and living rooms will have you gathering together to enjoy warm meals cooked with love from the full kitchen (or with its prime location, you can have meals delivered!). There is also a limited mobility accessible private suite with its own kitchen, so part of the family can be independent if they want. The primary bath has a jetted tub for you to soak away your worries while the rest of the family can work out in the exercise room or play on the air hockey table. This home is on a private lot set on the shores of Sand Lake with a boat dock and SUPs for you to enjoy. Just down the street, you'll find Sand Lake Public Access for winter access and cross-country skiing. When you're finished at the lake, take the family on an adventure only minutes away to Kincaid Park, Westchester Lagoon, the Dimond Mall, or downtown Anchorage to enjoy its fine dining. No matter what adventure you choose, you'll have plenty of space to relax and unwind in this well-appointed Alaskan vacation home, where you can make memories to last a lifetime. THINGS TO KNOW There is a zero-tolerance policy for extra guests at any time. Violating the maximum occupancy of six people will result in immediate eviction from the premises of all parties. No refunds will be issued. Limited mobility accessible downstairs living space includes kitchen, bathroom, living area, and bedroom. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This house is spacious and allowed our group to spread out quite nicely. The oversized game/dining room was a great place to gather in the evening. The beds were comfortable and many fans available for use. Our two favorite parts were the back deck overlooking the beautiful wooded area and lake below. Also the dock with stand up paddle board was an excellent place to unwind and we enjoyed watching a bald eagle soar from tree to tree. It's a sprawling home that was perfect for 4 adults who each had their own bedroom. Everything was overall clean and well organized. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking basics and the appliances are modern (including a Kitchen Aid mixer and Vitamix). We loved the dock, but it requires a bit of a short hike downhill so would not be accessible by those who are mobility impaired. The biggest issue we had was the front door lock. We had to Google videos about how to both lock and unlock it and then remember the sequences of key, buttons to push, and how to turn the lock. Jun 15, 2025 #### First Alaska Trip with Friends This home was perfect for our group of 8\. There was plenty of room, towels, nicely appointed kitchen and stellar lake front location. We had an Eagle who visited every day, the men had a ball fishing from the dock and we were very close to the airport. It was a great location for day trips from Anchorage. The house was large, dining room accommodated 10 people. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware pots and pan’s. Nice outdoor grill. Beautiful lake. Plenty of space for grandparents, parents and kids. The kids did not want to leave! It was our homebase as we traveled to Palmer and surrounding areas to explore. However, the best part was coming back after a day of adventures and the kids getting the fish off the dock, watch the eagles fly and relax. The only thing I would caution about is that there are a lot of steps in the home and steep steps going down to the dock. Easy enough for most to navigate but a little challenging for the grandparents.
