"I spent three nights in this hotel and found the people very friendly. My room was spacious and comfortable. There are many restaurant choices within walking distance and they are safe to walk. My trip was excellent; when I requested a late check-out time, they allowed me to stay until 1 p.m. They were great people. "

"Great location for visiting Galveston. On Seawall BLVD almost across the street from the Pleasure Pier. Walkable to many restaurants and bars along the seawall. Just a 5 minute drive to the Strand and downtown. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Facility is a little dated. Staff had a hard time keeping breakfast stocked on weekend mornings. Policy is to only clean rooms every three days unless specifically requested. We had to remind them to clean on the third day. Overall a good experience and we would go back again."
