"It was our first time staying at Pera Palace. Overall great experience. Lots of history, proximity to little shops and restaurants. Hotel helped us to arrange multiple excursions and transfer to/from the excursions places. Staff wants to make you happy . Breakfast was 4 out of 5. Bakery, fruit, cheese, veggie sections were great. "The hotel is away from the centre and its associated attractions but in many ways this was a strength. The area was busy and noisy but I never felt unsafe even late at night. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to ensure I enjoyed my first visit to Istanbul. The hotel was also excellent value.
