"We stayed for 3 nights and loved this hotel. Reviews suggest it is run down and tired. This was not our experience at all. My only issues were pre arrival. It was not clear at all how to get to the hotel. Cable car? This hotel is actually in the mid hills and you do not need a cable car to get here. You can arrive by bus to the GPO (shops) near the hotel. Then you can either use hotel shuttle bus or use a Grab. The shuttle runs every hour. Leaves the hotel on the hour and from the GPO...

"The apartment was clean and comfortable to live in. However, body wash and shampoo weren’t provided adequately even though the ‘big’ bottle was placed in the bathroom. The rooms were clean n the bed was comfortable Our best experience was the service of Mr Sagir at the cafe where we had our daily breakfast. Mr Sagir, is an excellent worker who serves with a smile n has initiative. We saw how he was able to multitask getting coffee for guests n clearing used utensils for the guests. An excellent worker that needs to be rewarded n treasured. My wife n I really enjoyed our stay. We like to thank the hotel for making efforts to maintain the standards of The Marriott ‘Good Job’ 👍"
