"Weekend to the Isle of Wight"
This is billed as a four star hotel and quite pricey for one night B&B, so I had high expectations. It's basically an inn or pub with rooms, but very spacious and nicely refurbished. The room was clean and tidy and our requests were met. The duty manager was very helpful. Beds were ok comfortable for us but not excellent. Bembridge is a lovely location and although the inn is not by the sea, it's a fairly short walk to things of interest. We ate dinner on our first night in the pub. Although it has a really nice dining room, that seems to be reserved for functions and weddings only, which is a real shame and a wasted asset. The food was ok pub fare and I have no complaints. Breakfast was another matter. The waitress decided she'd argue with us over wanting an espresso instead of their filter coffee, but I'm pleased to report we got what we wanted in the end. Then it took quite a long time to deliver scrambled eggs and we were informed that all the food was cooked to order and so that's what we should expect. Not exactly good customer service, which let down an otherwise very enjoyable stay. In summary, a comfortable inn for a short break but not, in my view, four star.

"Quality hotel with friendly, helpful staff"
Enjoyed a two night stay, from the moment of arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. Our twin saver room was great. We had booked dinner on the first night, which is one of the best we've ever had. Highly recommend this hotel.

"Very nice seaside hotel with sea views"
This is a very nice seaside hotel with good facilities for the class (don't choose the room with the four poster bed if you've a problem with stairs). This hotel has a very nice sea view and is walking distance from the old town where you'll find lovely thatched tea rooms and some excellent restaurants.

"Excellent B & B"
This is truly a gem of a place. The room and premises were immaculate - I am very particular about this. The breakfast was excellent with a WIDE selection and everything you could possibly want. Attention to detail at breakfast and in the room was outstanding with lots of little extras. The owners were very friendly and constantly ensured that you were happy and were very attentive. Don't think twice - book it. Stayed in many 5 star hotels and the attention to detail in every aspect was on a par with those types of establishments. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

"Good for a long weekend"
Lovely shower, Very comfortable bed, good level of cleanliness, friendly helpful staff. Good dinners, well cooked and presented well. Breakfast a bit more basic with no rolls and poor choice of cereals. Handy for local buses, which run every 10 minutes, but quite a tidy walk to any entertainment if you don't take the bus or other transport.

"Great B&B"
Very comfortable B&B. The owners are lovely and really helpful. Close to Old Shanklin so very convenient position. Our bed was very comfortable so we slept well and then enjoyed a breakfast freshly cooked and as good and varied as any top hotel

"Excellent stay in Sandown"
Had 2 day stay at The Westfield after being let down by another hotel! Very glad that we did as had a lovely stay with an excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Clean and comfortable en suite room with tea/coffee making facilities. Fresh milk in fridge and bottled water was a nice touch plus complimentary sweet and savoury biscuits. Games room is available if you want something to do in evening (we were worn out after a lot of walking during the day)! Close to Sandown station and 5/10min walk to beach. Would definitely stay again.
