Converted apartment over a restaurant, two bedrooms, full kitchen, comfy couch. Ceiling fans and window unit a/c's in both bedrooms and living. Decent neighborhood, about 15 minute walk from Wrigley. Would be great for a family or a couple of friends going to see a Cubs game. Whatever street noise or activity in the building there was, was easily masked by the hum of the a/c. Showed up well before check-in, the place was closed, called number for restaurant, got a call back from the gentleman who came over early to let us in (though we did have to wait about an hour before he could get there). Fancy little hipster coffee shop about three minute walk, several restaurants in the area. The building is obviously undergoing some repair/renovation, but all in all, very good. Would definitely stay again.
Excellent value for the money, close enough (15 minute by bus) and far enough from downtown. Great if you want to experience Chicago neighborhood life. Close to beaches and marina. Super friendly staff, helpful on directions and sites to visit. Excellent local restaurants and more reasonable prices then downtown.
