« The Paddler's Retreat is REALLY out of the way. We enjoyed our stay however, people need to understand that all services are limited. Due to Covid there is only a very limited breakfast, mostly cold. If you want tea, you will need to use the microwave. The range is not available. Furthermore, the options are more limited for dinner. There is only a gas station / limited eatery that stop serving at 6:30pm. The little town, Confluence is about 5 miles away. « The suite was so unique but very comfortable. The owner was a great host and made sure we had anything she could assist us with. We loved sitting on the front porch in the evenings. The locals walking by either spoke or stopped and chatted a while. So relaxing and so nice to see such friendly people. Only place to stay as far as I’m concerned. Loved it! »

« On a trip to do family and historical research with my husband. The entire property was quaint, and the interior rooms were spotless. Donna and Rick were wonderful hosts- making delicious breakfasts each morning. Also wonderful to end the day of hiking in the wet conditions in front of a roaring fire in the firepit, ducks in the pond, and crickets and treefrogs singing. »

« The location of the accommodation is superb. 2 min away from ski resort, and 4 min away from a mart. The place is well-organized and decorated. Amenity for kids was another big plus. i.e. Genga, lego, sink toy, etc. Kitchin is also very well equipped. electric stove, coffee brewer, many dishes, pots, and frying pans. the kitchen is practical. One minor downside is that the kitchen knife is too dull to the point that it is not usable for cutting meat. »

« When I got there I was given a different unit than described. It would not work for my situation. The desk corrected it by giving me another unit. That did not work as well. Guest services got involved and upgraded our reservation to larger condo and it was perfect. I highly suggest always checking out your condo as soon as it’s available. Fortunately we were able to do all this switching between three units around noon instead of after 4 pm. The normal check in time. »
