The building has an amazing history, the smokehouse history was fun to learn about, and the town had an event called "first Friday" where local bands and vendors showcased on Friday night, and our host was always attentive to our needs, available, and pleasant. « My wife and I, along with another couple, loved our stay at Poe's Mountain. The place was very clean, check-in/check out were super easy, and Brian was very responsive. « We had an absolute amazing time at this cabin. Not only was it very clean but they used labels to help you find out which light switches turned on what and where things went so we could easily find/use whatever we needed in the cabin. There was only one dish towel but the other linens provided were fine. Only suggestion would be more dishtowels. The beds were comfortable, so was the couch! We loved our stay! »

« The inside of the cottage was very clean. The bathroom towels are like blankets! SO nice! The kitchen is decent (with a little coffee/tea bar and fresh eggs in the refrigerator!!), the living room is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. My only issue with the interior was there was no place to put the luggage in the bedrooms. I had to put my suitcase on the floor and kept having to bend down to get things out of it. It would be nice to have a luggage rack or a small dresser in each room....
