« Came for the US Cycling National Road Championship. Agree with every other 5 star review. The host made his secure garage available for our racing bikes, which enabled us to enjoy the whole living space without our bikes in it. I wish I’d had more time to explore the riding around Charlston, but the in-city roads were great and, for those who like a bike path, the Kanawha River has a pretty good one. Highly recommend. »

« We had a great girls weekend staying at the 1799 inn. The location is great and we were able to walk out the door to all the sites, shopping, and restaurants around town. We were there during the Christmas season and the town was so nostalgic. The inn was clean and welcoming. A few things we noticed is the heating situation. « Some of the most important things while traveling is looking for a place to stay that is both safe and clean. This apartment definitely topped that. « The check in process was seamless. The property was clean and inviting. As I mentioned, loved seeing French Roast coffee on the counter. The bed was firm but not like sleeping on a rock, a very welcome change. Walking distance to shops and restaurants is a plus.
