« I took my time before writing this review. I wanted to be fair. So, I will start with the positive. The room was very large. The kitchen was great, and the view from the balcony was spectacular. Now, the negative. The hotel was actually closed when we showed up. The staff and manager had no idea we were coming even though we booked way ahead. « We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property in Gordon’s bay . Never got sick of the amazing views of false bay . Ideal to be far enough away from Cape Town but still close enough and I’d highly recommend this property . We stayed for 2 weeks and the comms from Richard were very good . He was always very helpful and offered lots of help and ideas for our stay . »

« We spend 5 nights in this wonderfull house. We loved the swimming pool and the view at the mountain. It's located in a quiet neighbourhood and street, not far from the center of Stellenbosch. The Spar supermarket is very close. We enjoyed our stay here! »

« Two couples stayed at Ravensyn Villa for 4 nights in April of 2023. We arrived late and were met promptly by Julian, our representative from the management company. He showed us all the bells and whistles of the home, of which there are many: pool, security system, washer/dryer, and daily housekeeping schedule. The home is beautiful and worked well for 2 couples and we would definitely stay again if our travels take us take to Cape Town. »

« VRBO listed booking when the property was not available. Only found out 12 hrs before arrival. Had to scramble to find another place. They did not offer any help whatsover. Stay away from VRBO. Second time this has happend to me. »

« We had a great time at Sandmartins over the 2022 Christmas holiday. The house is very well equipped, clean and secure. Sandra is a great communicator and kept us nicely informed through the entire process. She even decorated the house for Christmas for us! As is common in South Africa, load shedding does impact this property, but we appreciated the small backup battery that kept the internet and Tv going. « Had a Marvellous time - The staff make you so welcome and everything is catered for excellently- from breakfast to assisting with dinner reservations, places to see, the owner even went to get a razor and shaving cream from the local shop as I had forgotten mine, Champagne for our anniversary - I can not recommend this place enough it’s a place of tranquility and splendour. »

« Our extended family of 8 adults loved the location. You can walk to most places in Green Point and short Uber rides to Camps Bay, Sea Point, Table Mountain and other Cape Town attractions. We unfortunately lost the keys for one of the rooms, it must have fallen out of my pocket after parking and walking to a restaurant. « Bathroom not really isolated from the room and apartment not well idolated for the noise in common places. A bit outside the plaisant restaurant zone (around 15 minutes by walk). Nevertheless, it is clean and service is good. »

« Cottage was spacious with comfortable beds, fluffy towels and good amenities, fixtures and fittings. We arrived just on dark and there were no dining options, power was limited to a few lights, due to daily "load shedding", so unable to microwave or even get a cup of tea until full power returned an hour or more later.
