« We had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Cottage. The home was quaint, romantic, and had a great view. The restaurant was great (we ate breakfast there). Close walk to town. Everything was perfect! »

« This 3 bedroom villa is specious and comfortable . The views, pool and garden are beautiful and provide the perfect place to relax. The location provides easy access to the area and a walkable distance to town. The owners are the best. Great communication, very responsive to questions and issues and very pleasant to interact with. Highly recommend. »

« Das Haus ist sehr groß, jedoch sind gewissen Räume eine Erneuerung bedürftig. Vor allem die Gartenmöbel. Dazu ist das Haus voll von Privatsachen, sogar das Kühlfach. »

« There was a problem with communication about the property. I was never told about the power outage and also the property did not have AC system in all rooms. Some of the doors were bad and were never fixed and this was the same complaint for past reviews. The host did not care too much. We were checked in late and were not even compensated for the check out. They had "I do not care" attitude. It is a beautiful property but a terrible host. »

« We arrived to find the property completely vacant with no furniture. It had clearly not been used for a considerable length of time and was in a state of decay. We had to scramble to find alternative accommodation . I expect a complete refund. I have pictures of the empty cottage if needed. »

« Lovely house with loads of space and nicely furnished. It is in a handy location just off the main street, close to shops, bars, and restaurants. Easy check in / out and good communication with the owner throughout. »

« Our stay was excellent. We had great communication with Sharon and the property manager. Everything was exactly as it was shown on the listing. We would absolutely stay again for any future stays! »

« Listing stated that the home is 8557 square feet. That is not true, Listing also stated that the home has 3 baths. That also is not true. The method of drying clothes is by using a clothes line behind the home which also gets sprayed by the lawn sprinklers multiple times a day. Home does not have Air Conditioning and was too hot to sleep with windows closed. Home also has a pool which attracts insects which left us and our friends covered in bug bites each morning. »

« Great location, very safe and secure we did not need to close or lock doors. No loadshedding was a big plus. Will definitely be back. Thank you Athol for being a great host. »

« Property was nice, clean and accessible. They asked us if OK not to service the room due to lack of resources, which was fine and accepted. We unfortunately lost the keys for one of the rooms, it must have fallen out of my pocket after parking and walking to a restaurant. The owner freaked out about that, we accepted responsibility and apologised. We understand that security is a great concern in this area and accepted compensation needed to replace locks, a remote and keys. The rules for the...

« Bathroom not really isolated from the room and apartment not well idolated for the noise in common places. A bit outside the plaisant restaurant zone (around 15 minutes by walk). Nevertheless, it is clean and service is good. »

« Cottage was spacious with comfortable beds, fluffy towels and good amenities, fixtures and fittings. We arrived just on dark and there were no dining options, power was limited to a few lights, due to daily "load shedding", so unable to microwave or even get a cup of tea until full power returned an hour or more later. Next morning unable to find a suitable power outlet for hairdryers supplied - on checking out was advised compatible points beside/under beds??? Staff were personable and helpful...
