« We loved the house and all of its charm. The view was amazing. Loved watching the freighters on their way to/from the Locks. We were there during both hot days (85) & cold (40). The ceiling fans kept the place very comfortable during the heat & the furnace kept us cozy when the weather turned. Great location with an amazing view! Convenient to gas, places to eat, groceries, and more. Host was responsive & helpful. We would love to return again! »

« This was a girls weekend for my mom, her sister and my friend. The property is very nice and there is a nice place to sit where you can watch the boats pass by. The large picture window in the living room is also great for this. The seating in the living room is great for relaxing and visiting. Appreciated the timely and clear communication with the host. »

« This is the second time I have stayed at Deloris’s home. It remains a favorite. Spending the day watching the great freighters is a treat. Communication with Deloris is good with a quick response. The amenities are too many to mention. All our needs were met and having Deloris grocery shopping before arrival was a delight. She had the groceries in the house and in the refrigerator upon arrival. Will certainly return for another relaxing stay. »

« Great place to stay for a bit! Bedding and furniture were clean and in good repair. The house smelled wonderful. Hostess made the place seem like a safe place to unwind from the busy city life. The only thing that I would have love to have was some patio furniture. But it is early in the season so hopefully the hostess will put it out soon :) great place »

« Waking up here for a week was wonderful! This stay checked a lot of boxes for us and was a great place for us to get out and explore a large portion of the U.P. The wonderful back porch and patio areas are the highlight of this property, with the gorgeous Pine River and a busy beaver to watch, the mornings here were wonderful. This property offers a lot of amenities, including handsoap, some sample toiletries, and linens. I was a bit surprised there wasn't any dishsoap, but being inexpensive...

« Quaint and cozy cabin on a beautiful property! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Communication from the host was excellent. We would definitely stay again. Wish we could have stayed longer! Just a note that once on the island there is only one bar that serves food, and one nice little store that has a good variety of necessities, so plan accordingly. »
