Nov. 22, 2019Spectacular views of oceans, crater lakes, hot springs, meadows, villages, cliffs, black sand beaches, tea plantation. Great hiking trails well marked but not where trailheads are. You need a car -roads are narrow, winding. Weather changes quickly

Nov. 13, 2019We had a restful, enjoyable stay in Ponta Delgada. Walked around the harbour and the city. Enjoyed the Batelha Golf Club. I was frustrated with the poor GPS reception and got lost often driving in and out of the city.
