« Preston's place was exactly as advertised. Comfortable, quiet, and clean. The internet speed is great and allowed me to work while on site. The outdoor space is plentiful and there is even a pretty, little wetland next door. We woke up to bird song every morning and enjoyed walks along Sandusky Bay with our dogs. Preston is a great host who was VERY quick with responses to questions. We would definitely stay again. »

« We loved our stay in Apple Valley! This was our first time using VRBO. The host was very responsive and kind. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more! The updated interior was both beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed the local artists work displayed throughout the home-such a nice touch! Plenty of extra blankets including throw blankets in the living room. Although we only stayed a weekend I miss drinking my coffee with a view of the lake. Highly recommend! »

On the other hand, the area is older and is not the most pleasant to walk. However, we did not feel any risk in walking there. « Comfy beds, 9/10 on cleanliness, wish the kitchen had more supplies and better coffee. No shampoo or conditioner available (I forgot mine), but it’s a big house, lots of room, loved the room with the extra air conditioner (I have achy joints and can’t sleep unless it’s cool), easy check in, but a huge delay between communications (4 hours) he let us check out a half hour later which was appreciated. Overall I could sleep and we had plenty of room and the price was right. »

« We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was nicely decorated and very clean. We had what we needed to cook and be comfortable there. The back yard was so beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing on the deck. There was lots of wild life surrounding the lake - we even observed a Bald Eagle - the provided binoculars helped too. We were close to the Ohio to Erie bike path and enjoyed riding bikes into Akron. The host communicated well and we had a very relaxing time. »

« My sisters and I spent a lovely long weekend at this house in the Hocking Hills area. Check in was easy, the home was immaculate and EVERYTHING was as described in the listing. We spent most of our time enjoying the outdoor space which has a comfortable patio situated around a fire pit. The screened in porch was perfect for nighttime card games and cocktails.
