Location is very close to subway station, couple of supermarkets available in the area. Hotel floor is smelly, room is not clean, value vs money is low, I used it as emergency just to sleep over else not a good choice at all.

Really nice place to stay everything close cafe and transportation as well, I stayed here second time and I really love it, staff really nice, I recommend this place to stay if you come visit NYC.

Smells like old hospital they need to remodel the place. The staff is so nice and they clean good. Its just the place is deteriorating

I moved rooms for an additional night. The room was not good. The AC was running and dripping water on the floor, the wall had mold on it, the bed was not good, the bathroom was also very poorly kept. Because they were full except for suites the night manager would not move me. He offered to have someone look at the AC but it was midnight because I had seen a show. I turned down the temp, but it did not help. The AC began popping loudly. I was afraid it would burn up. I turned it off at the wall. The day staff was impeccable again. I would stay here again but insist on a refurbished room.

Everyone on this trip was extremely helpful and positive. I had a small group of students with me, and the hotel staff was great. Elevators a little run down and broke twice. Fortunately there are two groups.

The Night Hotel is less expensive than other Manhattan hotels, but it’s in desperate need of some updating. It’s not noisy or unclean nor does it feel unsafe. That’s good. But if you are sensitive to ugly, skip it.

It was very expensive for a filthy room. I paid for 3 in the room, but they kept only providing 2 towels, 2 washcloths etc. Also indicated water bottles and snacks would be in the room, but they never were.

Water and coffee in the room, great location, only thing was the cleaning staff comes pretty early on Sundays and opens the door even if you yell you’re in there so maybe put a do not disturb on the door whenever you’re sleeping.

The hotel was clean. Check in was quick and friendly. Wifi worked well. It would have been a good stay except at 3 am the fire alarm malfunctioned, and that was the end of feeling relaxed. We were told that it was a short circuit in the system but not offered anything to compensate for the disrupted night.

Nice place to stay in Upper Manhattan. Very close to the subway. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. You have to park in a parking garage a block and a half away, but that was good. You are close to all the food places. I would stay there again.

It’s really hard to find a hotel in this neighborhood and this one is super close to Broadway, which is very convenient. You do get what you pay for, this is not a luxury property, but it has character. I will give it that. Vintage Victorian style chaise lounges in the lobby. Could definitely use better cleaning. The rats in the street outside are actually not very big. Probably wouldn’t come here with young children. But would definitely return here over a Times Square tourist trap any day.

Host stated I couldn’t use Apple Pay for the deposit on the room because Apple Pay will not let him save the debit/Credit card information. I did not check in. The host stated he will cancel my reservation due to me not having the actual debit/card & Apple Pay he could not accept as a deposit on the room reserved.

Great location with the #2 Express Subway literally right out the door, and wonderful restaurants on Amsterdam Av. nearby. It’s clean and quiet and comfortable… nothing fancy, but who hangs around the hotel in NYC anyway? This is my third stay, it’s convent to friends and family and the price is right.
