Pretty place, but you definitely need a car as nothing around. Power was out most of the day. Bar was not open until 5 pm. Room was good. Bed was so comfortable. Very affordable. View good. Can’t swim off of beach as rocky.

Our flight got cancelled and booked the Hommage Hotel with Expedia. Very nice resort on the French side. We had stayed the week on the Dutch side and did not think of needing a converter for electrical plugs. That was my only complaint. Beautiful property and staff was amazing!

This hotel has lovely scenic views of art all over the hotel. When we got there the room was not ready but I didn't mind. The room was nice but no view the trees hid the view. The staff at the bar was rude this lady in particular (the owner daughter) was checking me in for breakfast and rudely stated I can't get eggs I said ok and walked away when I got to my seat I fell as I sat because the chair was broken. I alerted her abt it and no sense or lf urgency, no sense of concern as to if I was ok and she didn't remove the broken chair! On another occasion I was sitting at the bar first then a Caucasian couple and their friend walked up to the bar and was served first even tho I was sitting there waiting lol. I then asked for a can of coke which was$6 I then told her return my money because I didn't wish to pay $6 for a can of coke she questioned me asking why and threw my money at me . I won't be staying at the hotel again

The property is clean but keep in mind there is no ice machine. I didn’t have an iron in my room. You are not close to transportation or many shops. Stores close early in the area so a vending or shop on the property would’ve been nice

The Hommage Hotel was conveniently located on the island. We could get around the island easily. Close to area beaches and to both Marigot and near the airport. Quiet and clean a great place to relax and distress.

Excellent property clean and well kept. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Rental car option at the hotel was clutch. Having a car on Saint Martin is like legs.

Nice hotel.
We thought it was a good sign that many pilots were staying there. We found the staff to be busy but polite. Take your European wall plug if your English.

The pictures of this hotel are deceitful and need to be retaken. There is no Sign to the entrance of the hotel. Looks rundown amd we were embarrassed to be staying in this hotel. When we got there we had no water we had to go meet someone and had to cancel plans after flying and being sweatt. We couldnt shower than we had no hot water. We complained 3 times. In the last day the manager that was there onnDec. 31st I bebelieve Anna was her name that she would give is us the 1 night off. We called, sent an email and still no credit on the credit card.

We thought we booked a new hotel we had not seen before in a location we had visited 10 years ago when I couldn't find the old hotel online. Lo and behold when we arrived it was indeed the same hotel operating under a new name. The former Mercure has been fully renovated with an arts theme and under new management. The rooms have been completely updated and renovated. The only thing that remains a work in progress is the lagoon beach area that was presumably destroyed by hurricane(s). Our flight was 6 hours late and we barely arrived before closing. Rudy checked us in without any fuss and BTW he is the resident tech guy who fixed our TV very promptly. Staff are bilingual and very helpful if you have any questions or concerns. It's been our 3rd trip to this hotel and staff have always been great whatever name it operates under

This is a nice quiet hotel & room was clean. This is a nice place if you are looking for a quiet area and have a far as the hotel is located quite far from facilities. There is only one restaurant at the hotel which open at specific hours however the food isn’t as expected and staff lacks customer service. We were there for dinner on new eve and were very disappointed with the food and service, they don’t know how to talk to customers. People that came after us were getting their food first which shows clearly they have to be more organize. The pool lacks cleanliness as well.

The staff were very friendly, including the owners who are French Canadian who stopped by to say hello. The dining area and bar was a very nice setup next to the beach. Loved it...relaxing. But what I really loved was the peace and quiet also and knowing that outside in either direction can be a party. I recommend using a rental car for this property if you want to go about. One last thing I forgot my headphones ...expensive too...but what heck...its Christmas.

It was OK. Pros: The bathrooms are great. The pool is very nice and very clean. Cons: It is old and has minimal amenities in the rooms. No elevators. No views. No fan! It is on the lagoon side and no beach. Lovely staff except for one miserable restaurant hostess. Restaurant is not open for lunch and it’s a 15 minute walk to anywhere on a road with no sidewalks, though they do offer a shuttle to a lunch place. Wouldn’t stay again.

Dear Steven, Thank you for talking the time to describe your honest experience at HOMMAGE HOTEL. As you mentioned, unfortunately we do not have elevators on the property. However, our junior suites are at the garden level so these rooms are easily accessible with no stairs.Most rooms have been renovated and all have AC with integrated fans. Our staff, if asked, would have happily explained how to switch the settings on the AC remote control. We have different room categories and depending on the price, it is possible to get an accommodation with a view such as lagoon, ocean or garden view. The resort is located on the lagoon but is walking distance to the island's most beautiful beaches such as Baie Rouge. Sorry about your unpleasant experience at the restaurant and thank you for mentionning it to us. We thank you again for staying with us and hope you will give us another chance to welcome you again in the future.

Nice lodging! Room clean , bed comfortable and the balcony view was lovely. The restaurant on site has limited options but the food is tasty! The chef delivered a tasty meal each time. The staff here is attentive and friendly. There’s a convenience store / gas station nearby to shop for items you need. Renting a car is ideal to explore the island and the hotel makes it easy to do with options on site. Looking forward to returning. Please note there’s a $100 deposit fee that’s refundable. The hotel also offers a ride to the airport for 30 euros and taxi ride for 25 euros.
