We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Platzl. The room was comfortable and clean. It is conveniently located to the tourist sites of Munich. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed during some construction or very loud deliveries; however, they were respectful and waited until 9:00 to start. Bed was comfortable and generous. Needed extra pillows for my comfort. The room generous with bathroom out in private entry, separated by an extra door. Walk in closet, desk, and three comfortable chairs, king bed. Staff was courteous, breakfast outstanding..omelettes and soft boiled eggs to order. Fruit, salmon board, and every steeped delicious tea you could imagine. Location was central, one block away from the Hofbrauhaus. We loved Schneider Brau Haus beer and food. Two blocks from Marienplatz. We hope to be back to Platzl Hotel.

We arrived early, aware our room wouldn’t be ready just wanted to drop off our bags so we could explore the city. The male employee that checked us in was non welcoming, no smile , no good morning. After dropping our bags off with the Bellman I asked the employee if he could break my euros into smaller dollar amounts for tipping and he gave me an attitude and said the 20 euro bill was a small amount- Seriously !!! We came back that evening after dinner and the female employees were very welcoming with smiles on their face
