Nice breakfast and food in restaurant. Wonderful pool area. Room had good size but renovation is needed. Area outside of hotel is not good at all. Ice like a skating rink and we talked to reception but no action., people fell and hurt them selves a disaster. Very young staff and some of them were sleepy and no client focus. This is a overall proplem with young people. The chef in kitchen very professional.

Perfect hotel on Are
I definitely recommend the hotel. It s just across the train station and it s connected with it ! You ve got everything you need! Friendly staff, pool with sauna , jacuzzi and even a water slide ! Rooms are specious and the slope is across the street! Very nice !!!

Everything was Ok, but disapointed that sauna world was not included, as it is located in the same area as the water world.

Service was ok but the room didnt live up to what it said in their ad. Breakfast was ok, but many guests that cut in line. We didnt get any info on how to connect to wifi. You could never get hold on lobby when we tried calling them. Pool was ok. Pricing was ok for Åre, but i will probably get a different hotel next time.

Great place to stay. We were there in between seasons, so not much was open. Would love to come back in either high summer season or ski season to experience the full area

Not as good as expected.
We did not get lake view, but mountain view, even though we paid extra for that. When we got back to the reception, we got a new room with lake view. The rooms was quite old and had a atmosphere of beeing a place where people stay for partying. On our table by the bed, some other peoples lens where placed. On the bathroom, it was a lot of old dust on the showers outside line. The toilet brush was in two parts (distroyed), and some paper was also into the toilet brush keeper. We had expected the childrens bed to be ready, but we had to fix it ourselves. They explained this that if we wanted to use the sofa, they did not want to make the bed finished. This was quite okey, but did not fit us. The pool was nice, but very cold. It was nice that we had access to the pool the whole stay. The breakfast area i think was messy. We had to go many places to get what we wanted. They should have a better guidance when you get in the breakfast area. The service in the reception was good.

Holiday Club in Are, Sweden.
Holiday Club in Are is in a great outdoor location with breathtaking views of lakes and mountains. The facilities are good for families with a large fun indoor swimming area which has slides, water jets, jacuzzis and various pools to suit all ages. There is also a sauna world which is worth a visit if you like dry or steam saunas. The room was more than suitable for 2 adults and one child with a double sofa bed and twin beds. he views from our room were beautiful and we had a balcony which opened onto the grass and lake with volleyball court, football and other sports catered for in this area. There is a 10 pin bowling alley, crazy mini golf and countless water sports provided, including paddle boards and kayaks. The buffet restaurant, Grow, was really good with a wide variety of good food to cater for adults and kids. O’Learys Irish-American Bar was also a good place to eat and drink with the family. The staff were very friendly and catered well to our needs. The town centre is a short walk from the hotel with plenty of bars and restaurants to try. There’s plenty to do in the local area - waterfalls, mountain biking at the bike park, chocolate factory, museum, cable car to the top of Areskutan mountain and lots more. The Holiday Club is a good base to enjoy this beautiful part of Sweden.

The hotel is great for families, with lots of activities. I traveled alone this time, and enjoyed swimming in the mornings, and the possibility to exercise at SATS. But it gets a bit crowded at breakfast.

All the stars should go to the very kind and nice staff at the hotel. Otherwise the experience was pretty mediocre. Out hotel room was in need of some renovation and it was quite shocking that you’re not allowed in to the gym or the spa whiteout paying a fee if you book the hotel outside of the hotels own booking (30 euros spa and gym per day)

We had a really good stay. Great big hotel with many facilities. However, note that it comes with a significant cost to use pool and fitness if you don't book directly with the hotel. Very postive that hotels.com refunded us since it was stated in the booking

Dåligt ingen städning.
På 4 dagars vistelse fick vi städat en enda gång, det ger bottenbetyg. Mindre grej men ändå ingen höjdare att ha rummet allra längst bort, det var väldigt långt att gå, borde kanske vara billigare rum om man ska promenera halva dagarna.

Hej Mats!Då hotellet är svanenmärkt så innebär det bland annat att man ska minska på städning, nya handdukar, mindre platsförpackningar etc. Därav samt att vi vill hålla nere kostnaderna på våra rum så har vi valt att städa varannan dag och därför blev det bara ett tillfälle för din del. Till nästa gång så går det att be om extra städning och då mot en mindre kostnad!

Min vistelse på detta fräscha hotell nära tågstationen var utmärkt. Receptionspersonalen var mycket hjälpsam, och det var tyst och lugnt på hotellet. Frukosten var riktigt bra och bekvämligheterna som skidförvaring och bagageförvaring var praktiska. Jag uppskattade också närheten till affärer, restauranger och skidbacken. Det rymliga och bekväma spat var ett stort plus efter en dag med skidåkning. Jag rekommenderar verkligen detta hotell.
