“Very satisfied”
The staff was always helpful with information, scheduling, and getting tickets or reservations. The location was perfect. The room was great. We'd go back again.
“Excellent location and value for money”
The Hotel is centrally located and it is dificult to beat it form that point. As usual rooms are smaller in europe than standrd US rooms but that is the way it is. Take the delux room for the small up charge it is worth it. The hotel also has an AC that works
“Extremely impressed with the ST. Gotthard!!!!”
We just returned from a 5 day stay at St. Gotthard Hotel in Zurich. Our room was a junior suite, and outstanding. It was beautifully decorated, fabulous linens on the bed... which was turned down every night for us with a toberone bar left on each side. There was always fresh fruit in the hallway. The staff was extremely accomodating, frienly and thoroughly fluent in English. Yes, the hotel restaurants are expensive, but not anymore than others in Zurich. I hesitated to book the hotel because of other reviews, but am so happy that we selected the St. Gotthard. Would certainly reccommend it to anyone, and would stay again if we return to Zurich. This was by far the nicest hotel we stayed in in Europe!!!!
“Good hotel, very convenient”
A great hotel for the price. If you are travelling by train, you can't beat the location, which is only a block from the station and in a nice area. Absolutely no complaints.
“Fantastic Location”
We went to celebrate a special birthday for a long weekend, so wanted something central. What a great hotel location. Just off the train and through the station and hotel was just off the main shopping district, Less than 2 mins walk. All the shopping you could want and a 15 walk to Zurich Lake. We also purchased a train pass which allowed travel to several zones and took full advantage. Went to Mount Zurich on the train a fab walk to the Hotel at the top with some fantastic views. Fab restuarants within easy walking of the hotel, but you can walk further to the main lively district if you so wish. Had a great time although expensive would not put me off going again and would definitely recommend the hotel.

“I come back next year...in March 2010”
I went for a business trip, Hotel Location was in Bahnhofstrasse , just a walking distance to train station, just in 5 min. In fron of the Hotel tramway to going to main street in Zurich; Paradeplatz, shopping stores and dinning. Location for walker is great everything is close, Pharmacy, Grocery store. My room was a single bed room too tiny, if you going alone for business and sleep is Ok, Very Clean and nice service. All night a piece of swiss chocolate is waiting for You. Only the room don't have an air condition, maybe the other room have it, I open the window and fresh swiss air come in nicely and quiet, was very cold out side the month was March, winter still there. I will come back next year but an a double bed room with air condition. If you are looking for a confortble hotel and nice location for visit business or Leisure is great Hotel.

We had a wonderful time! The front desk people were so friendly and helpful! The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of everything--no need for a car!
