Rates were reasonable but Breakfast was minimal and incomplete even for lack of butter or cream cheese. Despite this the owner and staff were prompt in making corrections and bringing supplies when asked to do so.
Pool was closed for renovations and the restaurant was completely abandoned.
The owner was super nice but I’m guessing his heart is just not there into this business anymore.
Sadly there is an abandoned memorial water fountain that marks the dreams of the previous owner and founder’s name; who tried to make this a special place.
the property is dated and tired looking. Bathtub did not have plug & TV lost volume control

This was one of the worst places that I have stayed at on a road trip. I do not expect or need a lot from a quick stay at a highway hotel. What is most important to me is a good nights sleep after driving all day and being rested for the next leg of my drive. The beds were terrible, the pillows were terrible and the heating unit was so noisy I turned it off only to wake up at 4 am so cold I had to put it on despite the noise. The continental breakfast has so unappetizing and the room that it was so depressing I left and drove to the next exit where there was a Tim Hortons. If I had the time and energy I would fight for a refund.
We were 2 couples and when we checked in they put us beside each other. Pleasant staff, clean rooms, breakfast was included and very comfortable beds. They also had cable so we were able to watch the hockey game. Rates were the best in the area. Keep up the good work
The staff went over and above to make our stay comfortable . Even with crowds for Eclipse it was a quiet relaxing stay for my husband to prepare for surgery. Unfortunately the pool was under renovations on our stay but will be considering this hotel again for next surgery stay.
WiFi did not work in our room. Neither did the TV. Otherwise OK.

The property was very junky. The continental breakfast was in a cold basement and the containers looked dirty. The floor in the bedroom was freezing cold, the blanket on the bed wasn’t warm because it was a cheap velour thing. There was mildew in the bathroom window, and the whole place looked like they were hanging on by a thread.

Amazing stay, slightly outdated interior with newer renovated bathroom. A little bit of a musty smell and snow wasnt cleared until after check out time. Free breakfast was good and pool was closed unfortunately.
All rooms are drive up, lower floor, meaning they are extremely cold in the winter. The pool was closed for the season, which wasn’t obvious on the booking (filtered for pools and this hotel came up). Very old, needing a lot of work. Breakfast is minimal.
After driving all day I really needed a nice quiet clean room where I could sleep comfortably before continuing traveling the next day. The motel is not a luxury resort but a very reasonably priced clean comfortable quiet place to stay directly off the freeway.
The gentleman hosting was very friendly and provided the best hospitality of anywhere I have stayed in recent memory. Made for a very comfortable check in and experience all around.
