This property needs updating our room had torn bed skirt, the cabinet with the safe we broken. The bedding was dingy and furniture was old.

The staff member who checked us in was a delight. She was very welcoming and made us feel special. She helped us get a ride to the beach and back. Later we had a van driver who was exceptional in his service, taking us to ‘The Square.’ The entertainment, shopping and food was excellent there. The airport driver was on time and knew right where to take us for the best check in experience. It was an all-around fantastic experience.

When I got to the hotel, I was surprised to have to pay for parking as they have their own parking lot! Additionally, when I got to my room the door was held open by the security feature; I was a little nervous to enter, but did so. Did not realize until the next morning there were no towels in the room. Not super clean either; no blanket on bed, just thin coverlet. The second night I asked for a blanket; it took over an hour and 2 phone calls to get one. The blanket I got was cheap and scratchy. Window air conditioner ran all night.

We checked in a little after 3, and had to wait for a room, along with others. Got to our room and it was warm and muggy, that didn’t change during our stay. We set the thermostat at 68 and I don’t think it ever reached that temperature. The room felt dirty, the windows were filthy, and the bathroom was entirely too small. The hallways were dingy, dirty, and had all kinds of scratches on the walls. Breakfast was $18.99 per person, ridiculous! Also saw that a $25.00 charge may be applied if you wanted to check in a little earlier. The only thing I enjoyed was the warm cookies…..

Stayed for 4 nights. Staff friendly enough... waitstaff at breakfast very nice. Free coffee in lobby is nice. Breakfast buffet...: bacon very well done, as in hard brittle strips, scrambled eggs very well done, as in hard lumps. Rest of buffet nice, and it was included. Room condition: bed very comfortable, kingsize. Sheets clean and nice. especially nice large pillows. Room hasn't been dusted well in weeks. The legs under the desk chair, chrome, had a thick layer of dust, as well as the cross boards under the desk, heavy layer of dust. A small scrap of paper, seriously small piece of trash, on the floor for three of my 4 days there. Trash emptied, just next to scrap, but scrap never collected. The bathroom lighting is dim. One light to the left of the mirror would blink on and off occasionally. One towel rack not attached to wall well. Shower had three containers attached to the wall. One would expect shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Had two shampoos and one conditioner. (Asked reception to have it fixed, never happened.). Luckily there was bar soap. AC worked well, if a bit noisy when it rattled on. Safe stopped working when locked, which could have been problem is I had locked anything important inside, but was carrying everything important with me. Room has no ports for USB-A cables, that I could locate, so bring your own. Parking is abundant, free and well lighted at night.

NEVER AGAIN!
Where do we begin! Lets list the faults shall we. 1. Old and dirty 2. Outlets don't work 3. Bed springs are loud and obnoxious. 4. Mattress uncomfortable. 5. The final straw... BUGS! one ran over the table while I was sitting there and another scattered in the bathroom when the light went on! GROSS NEVER AGAIN! I have been an Honors member for years and never wrote a comment like this.
