“Quite good location”

Located very closed to 17th and 14th streets, where you have access to bars and restaurants. Convinient to access main touristic attractions by foot or metro

“Not easily impressed...”

... but I most certainly was! From the personal service to the location of the "apartments turned hotel", I could not have made a better choice. If you're looking for something a little different, this is it!

“Nice Surprise near DuPont Circle”

This was a great trendy hotel. I really enjoyed my stay and wished that they offer the music playing lounge and lobby on a mix CD, like Starbucks does.

“Wonderful Experience - Great Neighborhood - Great Price on Expedia!”

Our experience was fantastic from beginning to end. The reception folks were delightful, their advice was great, the hotel is close to a Whole Foods, Starbucks and great local restaurants, and the Du Pont Circle Metro. The Hotel's bar and restaurant also looked good and safe. The overnight parking is quite reasonable. Plus, if you are driving a red car ... you are in for a treat (but make sure you tell them when you ask for valet parking.) And Klimpton Hotels take dogs ... not that I was traveling with one, but good to know. I would go back, and I have already recommended to others.

Cet hôtel a toutes les qualités: très bien placé dans Washington, tout près de la station de métro Dupont Circle; le service y est excellent (personnel souriant, disponible, serviable; on est même tombés sur une personne parlant français!); les chambres y sont très propres, très spacieuses et très confortables. Seul hic: le service de garde des bagages n'est pas parfait.

“Great service, comfortable room”

The hotel staff was wonderful and the room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The neighborhood is nice and the subway is just a few blocks away. The White House and Mall are within walking distance, but wear comfortable shoes. It's a long walk!

“Great location for Dupont Circle”

We stayed for the first time on Sunday when moving our daughter in to her new apartment. Front desk was warm and friendly, room is large and well appointed, lounge is fun and everything is very red. Well located for Dupont Circle, Embassy Row, Penn Quarter and White House. Will definitely return.

We were totally surprised when we walked in the door. Hip, trendy, funky, words don't come close to its visual impact. Our room was quite spacious and very comfortable. Would definitely stay at the Hotel Rouge again.
