Stayed at this property from 4/07 - 4/11/24. The reviews on this property are very mixed, and I was a bit hesitant to book it because of that, but am glad I did.
My confirmation email said the directions to access the building were sent to me in a separate email - I never received one. I messaged the property through Expedia and never received a response. I called the property though and within a minute they sent me over the email with all the information I needed.
The email had a code for the door and elevator, and then a different code for the door to the apt. Had no issues with this except that you have to be VERY fast when putting your codes in. Otherwise it worked great.
As a note: if you’re taking an Uber there, they’ll drop you off at the entrance that’s right next to the Marriott, but that’s not where the entrance actually is. You have to walk around to the other side of the building (facing Subway) to get in.
The apt itself was in great condition. The bed was pretty creaky, and the train noise can wake you up at night, but it’s not crazy loud… reminded me more of the days I lived in an apt and my upstairs neighbor ran their shower in the middle of the night.
Great location - very short walk to Union Station and 1/2 mile to the Capitol. Would stay here again.
