The property served its purpose for our needs, at the time, but not near our standards for the price. The onsite staff at check-in (Thursday and Friday) were wonderful and very accommodating. However, the weekend staff seemed a little lost, at times; and they ran out of cups AND creamer for guests at the complimentary coffee station. Re/the room itself, the photos make the space look much larger than the actual size (we were in the 2 BR 2BA luxury suite); the mattress in the primary room (w/his and her sinks) was uneven and sloped backwards at the head of the bed, and

Loved this property- convenient to NoMa metro! Amenities are amazing- nice kitchen, washer/dryer, everything you could want as far as dishes, cooking utensils! Building feels safe and clean- definitely will book again for our next trip!

The property is in the NoMa area of DC, considered one of the safest. The building security was tight deploying seven digit codes to enter the building and elevator and a different code to enter the apartment. These codes needed to be entered quickly before it time out in a circular pad. We reported the bed being broken on the first day, it was never repaired, the worst bed we have ever experienced at any price point. Toaster was also reported as broken, never replaced

The on site service was non existent. You can call and email but no one will respond. The building people state they are not paid to help the Capitol guest and no Capitol employees show up for work.

This was a great property for our visit of the DC area. Close to the metro. Safe, clean little apartments, nice touches- dish soap, dishwasher tabs, popcorn, dishes.

The property is a nice development, however the management and maintenance of the rental apartments horrible. Communications with the management team very difficult and not pleasant when you get a hold of someone, rooms not very clean and properly set for a new tenant, bed and mattress conditions very bad all mattresses are worn out you can feel the springs in your back when you sleep. I do not recommend staying at global luxury suits.

You're on your own, the property is an apartment building first and foremost. You won't be allowed in most of the amenities and absolutely no one on site can help you with anything. Contancting the company and speaking to anyone competent is an impossibility.

Our room was very nice and we were able to walk to metro and there is parking close by that was suggested by Global… In our room we had a fridge, small kitchen with glasses and plates for our use. We did not cook or use any of the kitchen items as we stayed for 3 days and we ate out while going to museums and taking some tours. The only downside was that the bed altho was comfy may not have the support in the middle so I kept rolling into my hubby at night which can be a good thing if you are a cuddler. Lol We would stay there again. It is a contactless checkin and out. There is security and everything is self explanatory and everything was listed as it was stated prior to booking. The front staff was very nice and helpful. I would suggest that you don’t walk by yourself unless you are in a large group at night. We used Lyft to return to our room/apt. Also there is a delicious breakfast/ sandwich place at the corner where we ate at while we were there. Highly recommend this place.

It was totally unexpected that after booking (and paying deposits) I was called every day for over 3 weeks by this place asking me to upload ID (oh, passport does not count as ID), CC number so they can charge full prices even though I might not made the trip and booked the refundable. The customer service was not helpful and the website lied about having a front desk. I was told to haul my luggage around town until check in time. Because the front desk in the building (which doesn’t work for GLH) would not store my stuffs. I have NEVER expected this bad an experience from a hotel. Also, this hotel required residents to punch in a VERY long code inside their elevator to go to the right floor. This means there is never enough time to punch in the right one before the elevator went to the wrong floor.

The property itself was nice. The issue with this place is that it's part apartments and then they're renting out their apartments and you can't get in till late time and the way they have all these key codes it's very confusing and sometimes annoying you have to download the app. The staff was very friendly. It's a good place for a long stay but for the money that they charge unless you're with a group it's better to stay in a hotel

Stayed at this property from 4/07 - 4/11/24. The reviews on this property are very mixed, and I was a bit hesitant to book it because of that, but am glad I did. My confirmation email said the directions to access the building were sent to me in a separate email - I never received one. I messaged the property through Expedia and never received a response. I called the property though and within a minute they sent me over the email with all the information I needed. The email had a code for the door and elevator, and then a different code for the door to the apt. Had no issues with this except that you have to be VERY fast when putting your codes in. Otherwise it worked great. As a note: if you’re taking an Uber there, they’ll drop you off at the entrance that’s right next to the Marriott, but that’s not where the entrance actually is. You have to walk around to the other side of the building (facing Subway) to get in. The apt itself was in great condition. The bed was pretty creaky, and the train noise can wake you up at night, but it’s not crazy loud… reminded me more of the days I lived in an apt and my upstairs neighbor ran their shower in the middle of the night. Great location - very short walk to Union Station and 1/2 mile to the Capitol. Would stay here again.

Considering the price paid for this “aparthotel” I was expecting a bit more. The lady at the lobby desk our first day was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Just pointed at a sign about Global luxury and wouldn’t make eye contact. There was a floor lamp with its socket hanging literally by a wire, a terrible fire hazard that remained unplugged. I had to fix the shower head and shower curtain because they were not properly installed. We couldn’t open the biggest blind in the living area more than half way because it wasn’t installed properly. The kitchen area was dirty (grease on the hood), the furniture was askew when we first moved in, there’s no cord for the desk lamp. Halfway through our stay, we stopped being able to go in and out of the west lobby even though the Latch app said we could. I know all of these things are small and somewhat nitpicky, but we spent a good amount of money to stay somewhere nice. This stay was definitely below what I was expecting for the price unfortunately.

I was directed by the customer service oc Global Luxury Suites to communicate with the employees working at the front desk of Revel Apartments to assist me with holding my bags prior to departing on my last day. The employee at the front desk/concierge made it very clear that assisting me and my party with anything was very low on her priority list. We had asked for assistance with storing our bags, which required her to unlock the storage room right around the corner from where she was sitting. She said she would only help when she finished her own job and that Global Luxury Suites had their own staff to deal with us. We patiently waited for about 20 minutes until she found the time to unlock the storage room right around the corner. She was also rude to our 11 year old who very politely asked her for assistance putting his backpack away. After putting our baggage in storage we left for lunch to pass the time until our flight. Wheb we returned to collect our bags, we were greeted with the same negative energy. I contacted the Global Luxury Suites to notify them of the very rude employees at the Revel Apartments that they were directing their guests to deal with and to ask for assistance from. I was notified that this situation would be escalated and addressed, It's been 5 days and I've yet to hear anything back. This small experience and encounter really ruined what would have been a very pleasant stay.

The property and property management were phenomenal! Initially, getting into property was a little tricky and took a moment, but after figuring it out, all was well! Would recommend this property to others, just be sure to read all of the details in your reservation emails!

The place was nice and clean. The bed was low and cracked every time we laid down. The kitchen had no tea towels or extra dishwasher soap. I called for extra towels and dishwasher soap and they came the following day :)

The unit was very clean and well maintained. The only issue we experienced were the conditions of the sleeping spaces. The main bed was disturbingly uncomfortable and with the slightest move it eluded to the potential of landing on the floor. The mattress was sunken in the middle. Leading to unfavorable sleep. The sofa bed was at a reverse incline, which was quite disturbing. Overall the place was very modern and accommodating. I just wish for better sleeping quarters and better functionality with the door access. It appeared several guest had access to an app for easy access to the building and unit however that option was never provided to us.

This was a great place to stay with family. It was spacious and well maintained. Our only complaint was the noise from the trains, which was pretty much constant. With white noise at night it was ok (and it didn’t bother my kids). It was also very easy to get in and out of, and it was great to have the grocery store and Starbucks nearby.

We were only there for one evening but found the property clean there was a nice workout facility the property is modern and accessible to the city amenities. The Washer Dryer is very slow. We were in between destinations and had a good amount of laundry to do and it was very very timely. There's enough room for a stackable washer dryer so the all in one was not efficient. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay there.
